![]() Other than that I can't think of any other "flaws" to the game. CREDITS are the IN-GAME CURRENCY YOU EARN. PLATINUM is when you exchange real money for a means of purchasing in the market. Learn the difference between PLATINUM and CREDITS. Be sure to check FORUMS, the CODEX and even make use of the Communication Tab to get help from actual players. But the means of doing so could be convoluted to anyone unfamiliar to the way the game works. Almost ALL items in the game can be made, instead of bought (some people claim it's a pay-to-win game). You can easily avoid this by challenging yourself and trying new tactics/Warframes. ![]() Be sure to learn what ALL the buttons do on your controller/keyboard and even check the in game Codex. If you're a COD (Call of Duty) player, you'll probably get easily lost in the detailed, procedurally generated maps and levels (not to mention the menus) because of a tutorial that will only teach you the minor basics. Sadly, there are a couple of points that NEED to be talked about for new players. It's free-to-play, comes with a variety of play styles and characters and the community is a fairly helpful/good one. I won't lie, I LOVE this game and am slightly biased. It has something for just about everyone, and it's a great game to play with friends. ![]() It's not an inherently competitive game (they do have PVP modes, but they're not mandatory), so it's still fun for people who don't like fighting other people. If you like third-person shooter games, action games, sci-fi games, RPGs, aliens, robots. The main quests (referred to as cinematic quests because they include dramatic cutscenes instead of the characters just speaking over comms) are rich with lore, and there hasn't been a single one that hasn't made me feel a lot of emotions-several have them have even brought me to tears. The music and sound engineering is also great, adding so much to the atmosphere of missions and quests. No two Warframes look the same, even if you're wearing the same frame as someone else-the customization options are impressive, even if you don't sink any platinum (the game's purchasable currency option, as opposed to the credits you earn on missions) into cosmetics. You can get a lot of the cosmetics for free, too, you just have to be patient! The game has beautiful graphics, even on low settings, and the environment and character designs are wonderfully unique. Every Warframe, weapon, and all the equipment can be obtained and built for free-it just takes time. It is NOT pay-to-win, like many other games and apps are, and there are no story expansions to pay for. playing by a different rule-set from the actual game (thus, mini-game).Warframe is the best free-to-play games that I've encountered. The fail condition is usually on technicalities, and generally has gameplay elements that are not found in the rest of the game. Note, I'm not saying any of these mini-games are hard. and I don't think you can ignore those things, because they're acting like a key to enter the final battle with *probably spoiler*. I mean, it's not tough, but it's annoying in almost every aspect. so double annoyed, especially with jumps being failures, and not using the regular game's bullet jumping style, and instead used relay hopping. and I haven't heard any of the plot inside the weave, because I was too focused on the clues and the jumping junk to pay attention to the dialog being spouted. The detective stuff has been meh, and way too slow. When they're especially egregious, I've quit games over them (Path of Exile Labyrinth ascendancy - quit, FFXI ToAU Salaheem Sentinel rank quests - greatly annoyed and highly demotivated, Warframe Mastery Rank "tests" - greatly annoyed, Warframe conservation - highly annoying and play another game-worthy stupidity). IF they're forced into the line of progression (either plot or character strength), I am greatly annoyed, highly demotivated, and sometimes just go play another game. IF they're entirely optional side things, I tolerate them as something I might dip my toe into if I care one iota about whatever rewards are locked behind them (because most mini-games generally hide at the very least time-locked rewards that only become available elsewhere after a long period of time, serving as goads, forcing players to interact with the content that the devs spent their effort making.) I will only interact with them begrudgingly and resentfully (FFX ultimate weapons. Personally, I very much dislike mini-games.
